Lookout Bar! Leonardo DiCaprio has a new admirer in superskinny actress Kate Bosworth.

Leo got extremely cozy with the 25-year-old actress, who was holding his hand and stroking his leg at Bardot in Hollywood on Tuesday night.

"Kate was all over Leo," says an eyewitness. "Her body language suggested that she wanted to be more that just friends and wasn't worried who saw. They spent the entire night together side by side, intimately whispering in each others ears and squeezing each other tight."

Leo was with a group of pals, including Kevin Connelly and Lukas Haas, at a table in the VIP section. They were surrounded by about 11 woman including Leelee Sobieski, but it was Kate who was snuggling up to Leo.

"Leo and Kate acted as if there was no one else in the club," continues the source. "She was making sure his focus was solely on her and the black skintight dress she was wearing certainly helped. When the club closed at 2am, Leo and Kate left with the rest of the group to keep the party going elsewhere."

Leo had been on and off with model Bar Refaeli since 2006; Kate had been dating James Rousseau since soon after she split with Orlando Bloom in 2006. They were seen together as recently as last week.

Star magazine is a dubious source but then again, I wouldn't be surprised. Bosworth strikes me as a star-fucker and as much as I love him, I think Leo fucks pretty much anything that moves.

'Do I need men?” actress Reese Witherspoon asks. “I don’t think it’s about needing men. It’s about love.”

Sitting in a quiet corner of a Beverly Hills hotel lounge overlooking a garden, Reese wears a chic black dress, black open-toe pumps, and gold dangle earrings. An Oscar-winner for 2005’s Walk the Line, Reese, 32, is reportedly the world’s highest-paid actress. She is also astonishingly beautiful. Her new movie, Four Christmases, a comedy about family ties co-starring Vince Vaughn, opens this month.

“Everybody needs love,” she tells me. “Everyone deserves it.”

The great love of Reese’s life was once actor Ryan Phillippe, 34. They met at her 21st birthday party in 1997 and married two years later. She admits that in some respects she was naïve to believe that her marriage would last forever. “I wasn’t good about protecting myself,” she explains. “I spent a lot of my 20s just trying to make other people happy, rather than trying to figure out if doing that made me happy.”

Three months after they wed, their daughter Ava, now 8, was born. A son, Deacon, arrived in 2003. Then, a year ago, she and Ryan divorced.

“There are things in my life that are hard to reconcile, like divorce,” she says. “Sometimes it is very difficult to make sense of how it could possibly happen. Laying blame is so easy. I don’t have time for hate or negativity in my life. There’s no room for it. When you make wrong choices, you have to take responsibility for them: ‘What part of this do I own?’”

She pauses and takes a sip of tea. “I struggle to figure out what made me make those choices,” she admits. “All I can hope for is that I’ve learned something from it and won’t make the same choices again.”

"Christina Aguilera arrives at the Nokia Theatre for the 2008 American Music Awards rehearsals in Hollywood on Thursday.

The 27-year-old will open the AMAs on Sunday with a seven-minute medley of her greatest hits. “We are very excited to have Christina Aguilera perform at this year’s show,” Dick Clark Productions President Orly Adelson said in a statement. “She raises the bar with each live performance and you can expect something special at the 2008 ‘American Music Awards.’”

Introducing the Handy New 'Arrested Development' Film Tracker!

Now that our fierce election year is over, Americans can turn their attention to more pressing matters like what is the goddamned status of the Arrested Development movie. In that spirit, then, we offer you the brand-new Arrested Development Film Tracker™, which will bring you up-to-the minute cast confirmations, disavowals, and cagey statements of, "I don't understand the question, and I won't respond to it." Today, we have a brand-new development straight from the mouth from one of Arrested's key players. To the banana stand!

Inaugurating the AD Film Tracker is Ron Howard, who said this during his junket duties for Frost/Nixon:

“I think it’s looking very promising,” said Howard. “We’re still just lacking that one thing we need: a script.” He also confirmed that Mitchell Hurwitz, who created the Emmy-winning series, would direct the movie.

That adds both Howard and Hurwitz to the "yea" column already populated by Jeffrey Tambor, Jason Bateman, and David Cross, leaving only Michael Cera as the film's lone holdout thus far. Superbad, it's time to get with the program. We don't want to do this, but we can always replace you with Annyong.

ETA: Michael Cera's comments on the AD movie during press for "Nick and Norah":

What he won't be doing any time soon is a movie version of a certain quirky TV show. He hasn't heard of any plans for an Arrested Development film.

"I don't think I would want to see a movie of the series if I was a fan, anyway," Cera says. "And I don't really see a need for it if you can get the three seasons on DVD."

Women around the world are swooning over newly crowned "sexiest man alive" Hugh Jackman, but Martine Bruce remembers the time she knocked him back.

"I remember him chasing me around the playground, trying to kiss me," she said.

Jackman named Martine this week as his first girlfriend.

Jackman, whose popularity is about to soar even higher alongside Nicole Kidman in Australia, recalled picking Martine up after she fell in a running race at primary school.

"My dad said, 'Oh, I always knew you were romantic because you were running in a race and Martine fell over and you stopped and went back and picked her up'. Chivalry was there," Jackman said.

Now married, the Sydney mother of three said she couldn't recall the running race.

But she did remember the young Jackman as a gentleman.
